GMC Canyon Debut... Sort of

A new teaser image of the 2015 Canyon was released by General Motors ahead of its North American International Auto Show debut.
The teaser image doesn't reveal much but GM's North American President Mark Reuss stated the company could position the model as a "semi-serious duty truck."
The Canyon will be heavily influenced by the Chevy Colorado so expect engine options to include a 2.5L 4-cylinder with 193 HP and 184 torque as well as a 3.6L 6-cylinder with 302 HP and 270 torque. The truck may be offered with a 2.8L Turbodiesel engine in 2016, however that is based on speculation at this point.
